VSA sanctioned events are covered by GFA insurances in regard to protection of event organisers and officials. The VSA also provides trophies and other recognition to successful competitors. The VSA will also underwrite State competitions in the event of any losses incurred due to low attendance numbers and/or the influence of adverse weather.
